1 1/2	c	Unsifted all purpose flour
1/3	c	Sugar
1	tb	Baking powder
1/2	ts	Salt
1/2	ts	Ground cinnamon
1/2	ts	Ground nutmeg
1	lg	Egg
1/2	c	Milk
1	c	Pumpkin puree
1/4	c	(1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
1/2	c	Golden raisins.

Spicy Pumpkin Muffins

Heat oven to 400. Grease 12 muffin cups. In a bowl, combine dry ingredients and blend well. Beat egg with milk, pumpkin and butter until smooth. Stir pumpkin mixture into dry ingredients and blend until moistened. Stir in raisins. Spoon into muffin cups and bake until lightly browned--15 to 20
